Chatham-Kent police tell us two Toronto men went on a crime spree Saturday that left 2 vehicles in the ditch, and them behind bars.

Shortly after 4 pm officers received a call about a 2 vehicle collision on Tecumseh Line and Merlin Rd.

Police determined 2 men, Eastbound  in a vehicle on Tecumseh Line rolled their vehicle.

They got out, broke into a nearby residence and stole another vehicle which they promptly rolled right up the road.

The 36 and 33 year old were taken into custody and transferred for medical care.

They were charged with break and enter,  theft of a vehicle, and Possession of property obtained by crime over 5000.

While in custody they discovered a prohibited weapon on the 33 year old, so he was charged with possession.

The pair were  held for a bail hearing.
