Impaired driving charges have been laid following a traffic complaint at Rondeau Provincial Park.

Members of the Elgin OPP responded to the beach the evening of March 23.

While specifics about the complaint have not been released, authorities say a 39-year-old Michigan woman was arrested and charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, and failure or refusal to comply with a demand.

The accused was issued a 90-day license suspension and seven-day vehicle impoundment.
