A noisy muffler landed a Thamesville man in hot water with police.
The accused was driving down Park Avenue East last night but the noise of the vehicle caught the attention of a passing officer and the vehicle was pulled over on Creek Road.
Authorities found cannabis and a glass crack pipe in plain view inside the vehicle, and say the driver was also carrying suspected fentanyl.
The 40-year-old driver is charged with drug possession, driving with cannabis readily available, driving with a dirty plate and improper muffler.
The passenger, a 24-year-old Chatham woman, is also facing drug charges.
