A Ridgetown woman has been arrested after more than $30,000 worth of drugs was seized by police.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers with the Intelligence Section and Critical Incident Response Team executed a search warrant at a Victoria Avenue address in Ridgetown on Tuesday at around 8 p.m.
As a result, around $36,000 worth of cocaine and oxycodone were seized, along with close to $1,000 in Canadian currency, digital scales, cell phones and packaging material.
A 59-year-old Ridgetown woman was arrested and is now charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. She was taken to police headquarters and later released with conditions and a future court date.
