Traffic is now moving smoothly along the 401 after some slowdowns earlier this morning.
Emergency crews were called to the westbound lanes earlier this morning after a transport caught fire.
Chatham-Kent OPP say one lane was closed between Kent Bridge Road and Communication Road as crews removed the vehicle from the highway.
All lanes reopened shortly before noon.
