Traffic is moving again on the 401 following a fiery incident earlier this morning.
OPP shut down the eastbound lanes just before 5 o’clock after a tractor trailer loaded with 44,000 pounds of beef caught fire.
The driver managed to escape unharmed and disconnect the cab.
The eastbound lanes Tilbury and Chatham reopened just before noon.
