Chatham-Kent council is going ahead with a new combination hotel and seniors residence.
Chatham’s Travelodge on Bloomfield Road will be converted into this shared facility.
Staff issued a report calling for an 80 room hotel, a Marriott property, and an 85-room senior residence.
The plans call for a 3,000 square foot eating area.
The senior’s residence would consist of individual units, common areas, sitting areas, a game room and activity room.
