Prime Minister Justin TrudeauĀ says his Saturday briefing on COVID-19 will come from the floor of the house of commons.
The house is being recalled for a rare holiday session to debate the massive wage subsidy program.
The Senate has also been recalled and will meet at 4 pm.
Trudeau also reiterated the fact that things can not really return to normal until there is a vaccine and that could take up to a year and a half.
However some businesses can reopen and some things will open up after we clear this first wave of the virus.
He would not give specifics.
