The programming committee is pleased to announce the entertainment lineup for the TVCOGECO Main Stage at Canada D’Eh! 2012. This year’s TVCOGECO Chatham Step Up To The Mic promotion on facebook had a great response with more than 10 local acts submitting audition videos for a chance at one of five spots in the lineup.

The successful applicants were The Boxcars, a 60’s folk trio, new age artists Chris Rupert and Falling Edge, teen rock group Diesel and local recording artist Mike Cerveni. Clean comedian, James MacNeil will perform throughout the day as co-MC with TVCOGECO’s Peter Martin and CK hip hop musician Cary Templeman, also known as Southpaw.

These are only five of the more than fifteen bands and dance groups that will grace the Tecumseh Park bandshell throughout the day, in addition to the annual cake cutting ceremony, Canadian Cowgirls shows and other activities around the park.

Once again, TVCOGECO will tape performances of original music by various Step Up To The Mic participants at the neighbouring Kiwanis Theatre stage during the day and park guests are encouraged to join the audience there as well.
