Two men are facing charges after a pair of alleged shoplifting incidents over the weekend.

Chatham-Kent Police were called to Shoppers Drug Mart in Wallaceburg Saturday morning and say a man left the store with a number of concealed items.

An officer on general patrol spotted the accused a short distance away. The 33-year-old from Wallaceburg has been charged with theft and possession of stolen property.

Meantime, a few hours later, police were called to Shoppers Drug Mart on St Clair Street in Chatham for another theft.

Authorities say the accused was known to one of the employees of the store.  The 27-year-old Chatham man was located and charged with theft under $5000 and possession of stolen property.
