An early morning theft has landed two men with charges.
Police were called about suspicious activity at a Queen Street North business in Tilbury around 3:30 this morning and say the owner spotted two men removing items from the store’s loading dock.
One man tried to flee when officers arrived, but was taken into custody following a brief chase. The second man was found nearby and also arrested.
Two Windsor men in their 40s are facing charges of theft, possession of stolen property, and possession of break-and-enter tools.
Both were held in custody for a bail hearing.
