The Chatham-Kent Police Service said the red Suzuki ATV was initially stolen from a residence on Walpole Island sometime between May 14 and May 15. The off-road vehicle was located a few days later on May 20 in a parking lot on Westcourt Boulevard.
Following an investigation, police identified two suspects and warrants were issued for their arrest.
The pair were located on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg on Monday at 12:25 a.m., and taken into custody.
The 31-year-old Wallaceburg woman and the 38-year-old Walpole Island man are both charged with possession of stolen property. They have since been released with conditions and a future court date.
