A man and woman from Chatham are in trouble with police after they were allegedly found inside a stolen vehicle.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers received a report that the vehicle had been stolen on William Street North in Chatham at around 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
Following an investigation, the vehicle was located and the two accused were arrested. It was also learned that the pair both had several outstanding warrants for failing to attend court for separate offences.
The 33-year-old Chatham man and 26-year-old Chatham woman are both charged with possession of stolen property under $5,000. They were taken to police headquarters and released with another court date.
