Two CK Residents Charged Following Dog Attacks

A man and a woman have both been convicted following a pair of dog attacks in Chatham-Kent.

According to Pet And Wildlife Rescue (PAWR), animal control officers were called to a Wallaceburg address in May 2025 after a loose dog attacked another dog at a community yard sale.

Following an investigation, a 60-year-old Wallaceburg man was convicted in court under the Dog Owners’ Liability Act on January 16. He was issued a $1,000 fine.

As well, PAWR animal control officers investigated a dog attack in Thamesville after two dogs attacked a delivery driver on three separate occasions.

A 44-year-old Thamesville woman was convicted in court on Tuesday and was issued a $400 fine.
