Two more names have been added to the Chatham-Kent-Leamington ballot leading up to this month’s federal election.

The Liberal Party of Canada has finally selected its candidate, over a week into the campaign, naming Keith Pickard, son of former Liberal MP, the late Jerry Pickard.

Meantime the Green Party of Canada has named James Plunkett as its candidate in the riding.

The pair will be running against incumbent Conservative Dave Epp, NDP candidate Seamus Fleming, and Trevor Lee representing the People’s Party of Canada.

The deadline for nominations is Monday, April 7. Canadians head to the polls April 28.
