Lambton Public Health is confirming two additional deaths related to the COVID-19 pandemic in Sarnia-Lambton.
The death toll now stands at six in the area.
Public Health says one of the new deaths is once again linked to The Landmark Village in Sarnia. Four of the six total deaths are affiliated with the outbreak at the seniors residence.
An individual in their 80s was admitted to Bluewater Health on Monday, March 30, confirmed positive on the same day and passed away on Tuesday.
The second patient, in their 70s, was admitted to Bluewater Health on Monday, March 30 and also passed away on Tuesday. The test result received today confirmed that patient was positive for COVID-19.
Sarnia-Lambton’s case total has increased to 56.
