Two more Chatham-Kent residents have tested positive for COVID-19. Both cases, although unrelated, are directly associated with travel.
A 38-year-old Chatham man is hospitalized in stable condition after returning from the U.S. on March 15th.
A 66-year-old man is self-isolating at home after coming into close contact with a visitor from Italy on March 14th.
CK Public Health officials are connecting with close contacts of both cases. Those contacts are being directed to self-isolate for 14 days.
There are now six total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Chatham-Kent.
CK Public Health continues to stress the importance of practicing social distancing, following good hand hygiene, and avoiding all unnecessary trips outside of your home.
