Chatham-Kent Public Health is confirming two more positive tests for COVID-19.
A 45-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman were already isolating at home before results were obtained.
Public Health has already connected with close contacts who have begun their 14-day self isolations.
“There should be no more guesswork when it comes to what is expected of residents,” says Chatham-Kent’s Medical Officer of Health, Dr. David Colby. “The fate of our community, especially our most vulnerable citizens is quite literally in our hands. What you choose to do, or choose not to do matters greatly. Make the right choices.”
There have now been eight total confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Chatham-Kent, with one fully resolved.
