Theft charges have been laid against two local residents following a pair of shoplifting incidents in Chatham.
On August 12th, police were called to a business on St Clair Street and identified a male suspect with the help of video surveillance.
Less than a week later, officers were called out to a Third Street business when a bike was stolen, and say the same man along with a woman were identified.
Just after midnight last night, police located both suspects on Keil Drive in Chatham.
A 47-year-okld man is facing charges, two counts each of theft and possession of stolen property.
A 30-year-old woman is charged with one count each of theft and possession of stolen property.
Both were released but will be back in court September 19th.
