Two People Suffer Smoke Inhalation Following Pain Court Fire

Two people were taken to hospital over the weekend following a fire in Pain Court.

Crews from four stations responded to the blaze on Pain Court Line near St. Bernadette at around noon on Saturday.

Heavy smoke billowed from the building.

Chatham-Kent fire officials say two people suffered smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire remains undetermined at this time. Damage caused by the fire is estimated at around $500,000.
