An investigation remains ongoing following a head-on collision in Chatham that sent two people to hospital.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to the two-vehicle collision on Riverview Line between Bloomfield Road and Dillon Road at around 12:30 p.m. on April 17.
The two drivers, a 57-year-old woman from Chatham and a 64-year-old woman from Dover Township, were both taken to hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. They were the only occupants in their vehicles.
Damage caused by the collision is estimated at around $95,000.
This incident remains under investigation and no charges have been laid at this time. Anyone who witnessed the collision or has information regarding the circumstances leading up to the crash are asked to contact Constable Joel Rehill at 519-355-1092.
