Two Teens Arrested For Assault, Robbery

Teenagers from Chatham-Kent and Leamington have been charged after another teen was injured during an assault.

Officers with the Ontario Provincial Police were called to an area of Alderton Street in Leamington shortly before 5 p.m. on June 5, and spoke to an 18-year-old man who had suffered minor injuries from an assault.

Following an investigation, police arrested a 16-year-old boy from Chatham-Kent on June 20 and a 17-year-old boy from Leamington on June 23. Both have now been charged with robbery with theft and disguise with intent. The CK teen is additionally charged with uttering threats, while the Leamington boy is also charged with disobeying a court order.

The identities of the suspects are protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
