Two Thefts in Chatham Last Night

Chatham-Kent Police are investigating two thefts that happened in Chatham overnight.

Authorities say someone broke into a fenced-in compound on McGregor Place in Chatham last night. Suspected allegedly removed and stole 12 batteries from vehicles, and some copper wire.

Chatham-Kent Police are also investigating the theft of an acetylene tank from the Auto Parts Centre on Richmond Street. The value of the tank is about $300.
