Some high school students in Chatham are getting their hands dirty today.

Students from the Environmental Science and Senior Biology classes at Ursuline College are teaming up with staff from the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority to remove invasive species along the creek bank at Maple Leaf Cemetery.

The LTVCA is working to maintain a tall grass prairie ecosystem, which was planted along McGregor Creek in 2009.

Along with removing invasive species, students are also helping to clean up the area along the banks.
