A delegation of mayors from the Ukraine will be paying a visit to Chatham-Kent over the next two days.
The representatives are elected heads of amalgamated communities, and will be speaking with local officials about municipal amalgamation, government operations, and economic issues.
The mayors are in Canada as part of the third Ukraine Reform Conference in Toronto – another delegation is touring Prince Edward County in Eastern Ontario, and the two groups will meet up back in Toronto to discuss their findings.
Later today, the mayors will also be taking part in the launch of a new business accelerator in downtown Chatham.
