Union Gas Looking for Input

With work underway on a natural gas transmission line through Chatham-Kent to service Windsor, Union Gas wants to hear from people in Chatham-Kent that need access to the fuel source. union-gas-expansion-pic

Union Gas Spokesperson Barbra Petek says they’re looking for potential industrial and agricultural users, not residential.

“The route that we’re potentially looking right now would be in the Tupperville area along Baseline Road to east of Dresden to Kent Bridge Road and south along Kent Bridge Road to Kent Bridge,” Petek says. “We’d also have some facilities near Dover Centre, but depending on what we hear back through this expression of interest, that potential route could change.”

More information and expression of interest bid forms can be found on the Union Gas website.

Forms are due back to Union Gas by May 23, 2017.
