Union Gas is stepping up in a big way to help out the Chatham-Kent Fire and Emergency Services.
The energy company is handing over $5,000 to the organization.
Diana Pisani, the manager of construction and growth for Union Gas, explains how the money will be used.
“It’s to help support the launch of their new website,” says Pisani. “It’s an ongoing commitment to our safety partners in our communities to provide ongoing programs to educate the citizens of the community as well as the staff and this is one avenue that they are able to do that.”
Chatham-Kent fire chief Ken Stuebing says the new web site will be more handicapped accessible and also a valuable tool when it comes to spreading the message about public safety.
