The United Way of Chatham-Kent has passed the half-way mark of this year’s campaign.
Director of Resource Development Tom Slager says since the annual fundraising drive began in mid-September, over one-million dollars has been raised.
Just last week we went over the half way mark. Union Gas raised an incredible amount of money, just over $591,000,” says Slager. “That puts us at 1,020,000 for the campaign this year.”
The 2016 campaign wraps up on January 19th with a goal of $1.9-million.
