
A local man has been arrested after allegedly wandering into a Wallaceburg home without permission.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said a homeowner on Highland Drive contacted officers shortly before 8 p.m. on Tuesday, after an unknown man entered his residence through a back door.
The homeowner was able to chase the man off, but the suspect was located by police a short distance away and was arrested.
A 48-year-old Wallaceburg man is now charged with unlawfully being in a dwelling and failing to comply with a probation order. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
