Up to 31 Active COVID Cases in CK

Chatham-Kent’s COVID numbers continue to grow, up to 31 active cases today.

Public Health is reporting 3 new cases and one recovery.

As of Tuesday afternoon, there were two local residents being treated for the virus at CKHA, one of whom is in the ICU.

After a slight dip yesterday, the provincial numbers have jumped up again as well, with 485 new infections today, 309 of which are in unvaccinated individuals.

Across Ontario, there are 174 people being treated for COVID-19 in hospital, only 14 of which are fully vaccinated.
