There were construction delays for the start of work on both Bloomfield Road in Chatham AND the Lord Selkirk Bridge in Wallaceburg last week.
Construction on Bloomfield will now begin Tuesday morning, closing a stretch between Park Ave West and Richmond for one month.
Work on Bloomfield includes rehabilitation of the water main, storm and sanitary sewers and replacement of the curb, asphalt ant traffic lights.
The full work will take until the end of August. Bloomfield is expected to be open to through traffic in a month.
Wallaceburg’s Lord Selkirk Bridge on McNaughton Ave will now be closed Thursday from 9AM-3PM. The closure is scheduled for one day only.
