Site plan for the Brickworks development, a project of the Opportunity Villages Community Land Trust.

A public meeting is being held later this month to update the community on plans for an affordable housing project in Chatham.

The Brickworks, a project of the Opportunity Villages Community Land Trust, will include dozens of tiny homes in the area of Taylor Avenue and Grand Avenue East, and has been in the planning stages since 2019.

Organizers are inviting everyone from prospective homeowners to investors to learn more about the eco-conscious design and how the project aims to transform Chatham-Kent’s housing market.

The meeting is being held at 7pm on Wednesday, August 28th in Fellowship Hall at St Andrews United Church in Chatham.
