Chatham-Kent fire crews are still on scene of a morning blaze at a structure on Inshes Avenue, at the Polish Canadian Club.

The call came in shortly after 9 with Stations 1 and 2 responding.

When they arrived it was fully involved and spreading to a restaurant next door.

Station 15, Raleigh North was called in to assist.

The equipment included 2 aerial trucks, and 5 lines to control the fire.

There is still heavy black smoke coming from the structure and several area homes have been evacuated.

EMS and CK police are also on scene.

There have been no injuries reported, and no cause has been determines as of yet.
