Provincial Police are trying to track down a grieving family.
A small urn containing ashes was retrieved from the St Clair River near Corunna in St Clair Township.
Authorities say the small blue urn with dolphins also has a tag that reads Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, Ohio, however attempts to identify and locate the owner have proved unsuccessful.
The OPP is now turning to the public for help in tracking down the owners and return to remains to their loved ones.
