Union Gas is throwing its support to the International Plowing Match, donating $25,000 to next fall’s massive event.
Sponsorship coordinator Jamie McGrail says with the expected cost of the IPM running upwards of one million dollars, donations like that are essential.
“We need that kind of money, and every donation count, be it money or in-kind,” says McGrail. “And then the in-kind, the loaning of vehicles and the trades, and people volunteering. It’s amazing.”
Meantime, another community information meeting is being held at the Central in Pain Court on March 14th, starting at 5pm.
