The University of Windsor tweaked its stance on the COVID 19 vaccination issue.
Last week the school announced all student athletes must be vaccinated. Now a new announcement that all students, staff and faculty must receive the vaccine.
Anyone returning to campus must receive their first vaccine by September 1st, and the second no later than October 1st.
Those who do not have at least their first dose by September 1, will be subject to regular testing protocols to access campus. Accommodations can be requested for vaccination exemptions for medical reasons or under grounds protected under the Ontario Human Rights Code.
All members of the University of Windsor community returning to campus will be required to declare their COVID-19 vaccination status. Regular testing protocols will be established for those who are not vaccinated and/or have received accommodations.
