The Bradley Centre in Chatham is expected to be up and running once again today.
Public Health shut down the mass vaccination clinic over the weekend after the municipality’s supplies ran dry, but with an expected delivery of vaccine yesterday, the clinic will once again be operating.
Residents are reminded to use the local call centre to book appointments – 519-351-1010 – not the provincial portal.
As it stands, 13,766 doses have been administered in Chatham-Kent so far.
Meantime, both the Lambton Kent and St Clair Catholic District School Board are dealing with more cases of COVID-19 in Chatham-Kent schools.
The number of cases in the WDSS community has risen to four – three student cases and one staff member have been affected, although public health doesn’t believe there is any further impact to the school itself and officials have reached out to anyone who might be considered a close contact.
A case has also cropped up in the Georges P Vanier school community in Chatham, however public health says the person isn’t currently going to school so no students or staff are being dismissed.
