A horrifying collision in Comber has left one woman dead.
Provincial Police say a vehicle hit a snowbank on Taylor Avenue late yesterday morning, drove through the parking lot at Centennial Central Public School, and crashed into the front staircase of the school.
The driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No students were injured.
The victim’s identity has not been released as the investigation continues.
