A warning for motorists after a vehicle careened into the St Clair River.

Around 6:30 last night, a 24-year-old from Corunna lost control and drove into the river just off the St Clair Parkway south of Courtright.

Luckily, the driver was able to get out of the vehicle and was treated by paramedics at the scene for minor injuries.

Provincial Police say melting snow can cause minor flooding in some areas and drivers need to pay attention to the conditions.
