A Wallaceburg man will have to answer to a judge in court after thousands of dollars worth of illegal drugs were found in a vehicle that had crashed into a ditch.
The Ontario Provincial Police said officers responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch on County Road 46 in Lakeshore on Sunday at around 6 a.m.
Officers determined the driver had been violating a previous court order and he was arrested.
During a search of the vehicle, officers discovered a large quantity of suspected cocaine, heroin, and methamphetamine, with an estimated street value of $120,000.
As a result, a 37-year-old Wallaceburg man is charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, failing to comply with a release order, and possession of a prohibited device of ammunition.
He is scheduled to appear in a Windsor court to answer the charges at a later date.
