A local fire fighter has been identified as the victim of Friday morning’s fatal accident in Brooke-Alvinston.

About 11:30 am, a vehicle collided with a combine on Petrolia Line, killing 20-year-old Tanner Redick of Brooke-Alvinston.
Tributes have been pouring in – the Brook Fire Rescue, where Redick served as a volunteer firefighter, says he had a true passion for firefighting.
Six Nations Fire and Emergency Services, where Redick recently was hired on full-time, says they are grateful for the time they had with Redick, and that his presence made them a better service.
Visitation is being held at the Van Heck Funeral Home in Alvinston, with a firefighter walk through Wednesday at 7pm, visitation following until 9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
A funeral will be held Friday afternoon at the Brooke Alvinston Inwood Community Centre Complex.
