A special fundraiser in support of local residents in crisis is being put on hold.
Officials with Chatham-Kent Victim Services say the Garden of Giving event, scheduled for this Friday at the Retro Suites Hotel, has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.
The gala was set to include special guest speakers, bot live and silent auctions, entertainment, and more.
All ticket-holders are being contacted with an explanation of next steps.
There’s no word at this point on when the event will be rescheduled.
