A 64 hour vigil begins tonight at 6pm at the cenotaph in Chatham.
Judy Smith, Warden at Christ Church Chatham, says the vigil gets underway with the Legion Colour Guard.
We have both the MPP and MP in attendance, so what you can expect to see is people standing on guard at the corners of the cenotaph,” says Smith. “When cadets or legion members or military members are there they’ll be at attention, but that’s not asked of any other individuals.”
The vigil wraps with the beginning of the Remembrance Day ceremonies on Sunday.
