Plans have changed for tonight’s vigil in Chatham to honour the victims of Sunday’s targeted attack against a Muslim family in London.
Originally slated for the Tecumseh Park band shell, organizers now say the event will be a drive-by memorial at the Civic Centre.
Motorists are asked to pass by the Civic Centre in a westbound direction on King Street to facilitate those who want to drop off flowers, items of remembrance or donations to the family.
Provincial COVID restrictions on outdoor gatherings were temporarily lifted for last night’s vigil in London that drew a crowd of close to 10,000 people.
