The clock is ticking to vote on this year’s snowplow naming contest in Chatham-Kent.
The annual campaign was first launched in 2021, with 24 named plows now on the roads, including Gordie Plow, Blizzard of Oz, Sled Zepplin, and Flurrie Jenkins.
Municipal officials opened this year’s contest to suggestions in late January, and has been narrowed down to the top ten, which are open to voting until 4pm on Friday.
Some of this year’s suggested names include Billie Ice-ish, Chillene Dion, Frostimus Prime, and Plowabunga.
