This weekend marks the culmination of a series of events raising money to support those living with dementia in Chatham-Kent.
Walk Wednesday events have been held the past three weeks in Tilbury, Blenheim, and Wallaceburg, with the Walk for Alzheimer’s grand finale set for tomorrow at Kingston Park in Chatham.
Registration begins at 10 with opening ceremonies set for 10:20. The event will include live entertainment, vendors, and food.
The organization is hoping to raise $60,000 to support those living with dementia, their caregivers, and families.
The deadline to register online is 12pm on Friday. In-person registration at the event begins at 10 o’clock Saturday morning.
