After months of having to close up shop for renovations, the Wallaceburg Animal Shelter is once again open.
Susan Arends, animal shelter manager and bylaw officer says the work done focuses on animal care, and the work won’t be noticeable for the humans when they visit, but for the animals it’s a big change.
Arends says without the help of the public and donations, the shelter couldn’t operate or renovate the physical building.
