One person has been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Wallaceburg.
The Ontario Provincial Police said the two passenger vehicles collided head-on on Thursday at around 7:53 a.m. on Dufferin Avenue between Arnold Road and Walnut Drive.
One of the drivers was taken to hospital by EMS to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The other driver was assessed at the scene by paramedics but was not taken to hospital.
As a result of the crash, an 88-year-old Chatham resident is now charged with careless driving.
Dufferin Avenue was closed for several hours while officers conducted an investigation, but it has since been reopened.
