Wallaceburg Cyclist Struck

A Wallaceburg man, who has been preparing for a bicycle ride to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House, is recovering after being struck by a truck. police-crest

Rick Bernard was cycling on McCreary Line near Mandaumin Road Friday afternoon when he was hit.

He was taken to hospital with what police describe as non-life threatening injuries.

The driver, a 59-year-old Newbury man, was charged with failing to turn to avoid a collision.
