
A traffic stop in St Clair Township has landed a Wallaceburg man with charges.
A Lambton OPP officer on general patrol pulled over a vehicle on Highway 40, north of Holt Line, just after 10 o’clock Tuesday morning.
The driver, a 44-year-old from Wallaceburg is now facing charges of driving while impaired by alcohol and drugs, having a blood alcohol level over the legal limit, and dangerous driving.
Authorities also issued a 90-day license suspension and seven day vehicle impoundment.
The accused has been released from custody, and is scheduled to be back in court in Sarnia next month.
